Whole House Works

The whole house works have been completed on the following estates: Bramhall, Bredbury, Rose Hill North (Romiley), Hawk Green, Heald Green and Rose Hill South. The works are continuing on the Bredbury Green and Cheadle estates. All void properties are continually being refurbished as and when they come available. In some cases it has been possible to bring works forward from their originally planned start dates, meaning that the project is well on target for overall completion in the second half of 2010.

If you have not yet had any works completed you will be visited by a Rowlinsons Site Officer who will talk you through dates for indvidual house programmes at least three weeks before the work is due to start.

To request further information about your works please use the general enquiry form available online.

Environmental Improvements

Following a consultation by Groundwork Manchester a set of proposals has been created for environmental improvements to the estates. The full consultation on these proposals is now complete and works will be carried out from 2011 onwards. In the meantime we have agreed a set of early win projects that Groundwork will carry out over the next few months. These are small projects that can be completed quickly and easily and should have an immediate impact to improve the environment of the estates (e.g. bulb planting, installation of benches etc.)

Roofline Works

A programme of roofline works is currently being created to start in late 2010. This will involve repairs and improvements to the rooflines of properties where necessary. Further information will be available once the programme has been finalised.
