Improvement Introduction

Neighbourhood development and regeneration is vital to Mossbank establishing sustainable neighbourhoods.

Mossbank Homes is working to deliver this in Partnership with Rowlinson Construction, Arcus Consulting, F.T. Finleys, Stockport MBC, McCosker, Marton Energy Efficiency Services, Education Business Solutions, Construction Industry Solutions and Groundwork.

Through this partnership approach and recognising that creating sustainable communities is not just about physical regeneration, we are becoming involved in a variety of community economic activities that reflects the needs of the local community over all eight individual estates.

The main contractors working on the estates are Rowlinsons who will be in charge of the improvements works/schedule day-to-day on the estates. Day-to-day maintenance unrelated to the improvement contract is carried out by F.T. Finley.

Improvements to our Stockport homes has taken place from the moment we took over from Manchester City Council. All major works to homes are estimated to be undertaken over the first two years from the transfer date, in order to bring all properties in line with the governments Decent Homes Standard.
